About Us

Green Bee Floral Co began in 2019 with husband/wife duo, Nick + Brittany Zwart and a need to support their special needs kiddo. Thanks to the support of our community, it has turned into a thriving flower farm + floral design business. Our retail boutique opened in 2022, in downtown Strathroy. 

We specialize in bold, romantic, and airy floral design; honouring the changing seasons and locally grown blooms to bring our community the very best that nature has to offer.

Our flower farm is nestled between Strathroy and Mount Brydges, ON where we grow approximately 75 different types of flowers on 2.5 acres. Our local season begins in late January as we begin to wake up thousands of spring bulbs such as tulips, hyacinths, irises, and narcissus and runs until the dahlia tubers are safely tucked away for hibernation in November. 

Each year, we grow thousands of specialty cut flower stems: ranunculus, anemones, stocks, snapdragons, sunflowers, zinnias, cosmos, amaranthus, peonies, dahlias, celosia, and so much more. 

Using our locally grown flowers, and supplementing with the best imported blooms from around the world, our farm and retail boutique is driven by unyielding authenticity: that we may design with the colours and textures of the earth, honouring the beauty and movement in nature.
